FRESMAK ARNOLD MAT Neumo-Hidráulica
Pneumatic vice that enables simple automation of the clamping, with Fresmak’s precision, strength, and repeatability.

Characteristics

- Designed for automatic and robotic processes.
- Equipped with a high-pressure, single-acting pneumo-hydraulic multiplier, which uses a compressed air supply at 6 bars of pressure.
- Rotary connection at the oil inlet and outlet.
- Clamping force is regulated by inlet air pressure.
- Automatic forward and reverse travel of 3 mm.
- This vice includes preinstallation for 0-MAK zero point system.
+ ARNOLD MAT General Characteristics (Read more)
- Accuracy of 0.01 mm in clamping repeatability.
- Monoblock design avoids deformations caused by high pressure and provides great robustness.
- Particularly suitable for use in both vertical and horizontal machining centres.
- Grinding of all surfaces with a parallelism and perpendicularity of 0.02 mm.
- Possible working positions: supported on the base, on the side, or vertically on the head.
- Side openings for easy cleaning of the inside of the vices.
- Can be clamped to the table using either the four standard clamps supplied or four screws through the inside of the vice.
- 25/40/50 kN clamping force, depending on the size.
- Available sizes (width):
- 90 / 125 / 160 / 200mm
Clamping Technology
Enveloping clamping

The spindle does not push the movable jaw from the end clamp, but rather pulls it from the head.
This ensures that the head of the jaw and the workpiece suffer less deformation stress due to high pressure.
Tips for use
- The air must be filtered (dry air).
- If using a pedal control, the valve assembly supplied with the vice must be placed between the compressor and the pedal, not between the pedal and the vice.
Required elements
- Connection hose from compressor to vice.
- Inlet air filter, pressure gauge, and lubricator assembly.

Special jaws

The ARNOLD MAT vices offer the possibility to work with machined soft jaws according to the geometry of the workpiece.
Semi-sphere

The ARNOLD MAT vices have a descending clamping system to prevent the clamped part from lifting. This is a semi-sphere installed between the movable jaw and the spindle shoe.
When the clamping force is applied via the spindle, the pressure is split in two directions, one of which pulls the workpiece downwards.
